2Do

I see a EKT6323JY3 com guidedways 2DoHelper in Notification Center, what is this?

EKT6323JY3.com.guidedways.2DoHelper is the helper app that deals with Quick Entry and Alerts when 2Do isn’t running. It comes bundled with 2Do as a launch service.

If under Preferences > General you have one of the two checked, you’ll see the EKT6323JY3.com.guidedways.2DoHelper process listed under Activity Monitor:

’Launch 2Do on System Startup’
’Launch 2Do Helper on System Startup’

The helper app is completely harmless and should be left alone. The service is Sandboxed (i.e. it has no access to any of your files and cannot harm your machine in any way or form) and gets installed/removed with 2Do. It doesn’t consume any CPU (as mostly sits idle waiting for certain events to trigger) and will not affect battery life (on laptops). It gets listed under Notification Center because it manages registration of alerts for 2Do.
