Wrong calendar when adding tasks?

I use 2Do with several calendars and typically when I add a task I select the calendar I would like to add the task to and then push the (+) button to add a new ToDo. With the recent updates I have noticed that if I launch 2Do and then do this, it reverts the selected calendar back to the first calendar on my list. For example, I have 2 calendars named 'Home' and 'Work', Home is the 1st calendar on the list, Work is the second. If I launch 2Do, select the Work calendar and then push the (+) button to add a task, the selected calendar (to which it will add the task) is 'Home' instead of Work. I think this may be related to the sync feature as I have my app set to sync on launch, if I wait until the sync is complete adding tasks works as normal.

Yes, I can recreate this even after closing the app from running in the background (via multitasking bar). It reverts back to the first calendar as soon as the sync finishes.

Oh hah, yes that sounds like it would be important - I am using iCloud to sync.

I have tried closing it out via the multitasking bar. The bug occurs on my iPad as well.

I tried adding a bunch of tasks and found the 'default' calendar assignment to be erratic. So I just rearranged the task data screen and made Calendar the first item on the list; it's really hard to miss it now when I enter a new task.

The 'assigned' calendar will be the one that is highlighted in the task info which may or may not be the same as the one the user is working from. By 'default' I mean the one that is highlighted on the task screen, which is the one the task will be assigned to.

No, sorry I wasn't clear. I am saying what RustyCas is saying, the calendar that is selected when I go to add a new ToDo is NOT the one that I am working in. I have ~10 calendars for various things so I choose the one I would like to add the task to, then push the (+) button to add a new task. If I do this while it is in the middle of a sync it will default back to the first calendar being SELECTED in the 'add task' dialog (I see it change as soon as the sync ends). I can select the right calendar to add the task to but if I wait until the sync completes it does not happen.

Thanks for the clarification. I will let the devs know about this, but for now: don't create any new tasks in the short period of time that the app is syncing.

Just to clarify this point as well, I can make new tasks while the app is syncing it just requires me to reselect the calendar to which the task will be added. Works fine as long as I remember to do that (and it works even if I don't, the task just gets added to my first calendar instead).

Just updated to 2.7.1 and re-enabled sync on start - this bug is NOT fixed.

Also, is there any way to make it not sync any time the phone is unlocked but only when the app is actually launched (i.e. it syncs if I lock my phone with 2do running then unlock).
