Inconsistent Sync

I'm sync'ing with MobileMe and both units aren't consistent.

I'm getting a synced successful on each.

Why aren't the items listed in the same order in the same calendar on both units?

My ToDos icon on my iphone has 37 and my iPad has 5.

My iPhone has 3 starred events and my iPad has 7.

All other tabs are correct.
