A few suggestions for comments

Hi,

Long time user, really enjoy the app on a daily basis! Some of these have been mentioned before, but I can't recall the Official response. Any comments other users have would be great too....

1. Could there be an option in settings to have the time selector only show 5:00, 5:05, 5:10 etc.. rather than every minute. Would speed up getting to a particular time and I personally rarely need to select 5:13 for example. Should only be an option.

2. In tap to defer (sadly a function I use all the time!!), can there please be an option for "more" whcih brings up the calendar for deferring something for more than a few days. Someone also suggested a sideways scrolling selector built right into the "tap to defer" screen also which sounded awesome, but might be tricky...

3. If i set a task up as repeating every Sunday, and then defer it for one week until Monday, once I mark it as done the next task shows up on the Monday too. In most real world situations I have had, the next iteration of the task was actually back on the Sunday. Thoughts on this, as I assume this is deliberate?

4. Could tasks with the word "Call" in them automatically get given an "action" of "Call: None" so they get the nice icon Same with other actions if possible... would make data input faster

These are just things I have been thinking about, will post again if think of anything else!

agree with no. 1 but not important to me as I don't use times much.

Agree completely with 2. I it has already been suggested a number of times and is a natural extension of existing functionality.

Agree with 3 to some degree but this should be an option as I have seen in other task apps as others may want it to repeat every 7 days, etc. . In the meantime, maybe not defer it and just let it show as past due

Do not agree at all with parsing text for things like "Calls", "Meetings", etc. This is just a messy approach IMHO. What if my Task is: Ask Joe if he wants me to call Steve?, "Call a meeting for next Tuesday", etc. etc. I've used other apps on various platforms that did this really well but I still found it not worth it when the app didn't get it right. It's simple enough to use as it is

Perhaps I don't understand your #3, or misunderstand the function, but I believe 2Do can do #3:

When you set up your task to repeat, you get a screen with the options of how often and when. Near the top of the screen, just below where it says repeat, there are 2 buttons. One says "On due date" and the other "on completion." For your case, if you have a weekly task set for Sunday and "on due date' is chosen (blue), that task will show up every Sunday, no matter when you complete. If however, you chose "on completion" the task will repeat weekly from the completion date.

Try it and post back if it works.

Now, what I would like to see is the ability and/or an easy way to enter the completion date. Suppose you completed your task on Monday but didn't have the opportunity to enter into 2Do until Tuesday. When looking back in a few months, you won't know when you actually completed it (unless you put i t into the notes).
