How do I enable local notifications?
When I install the app on my iPad, it asks for notifications, however, I don't get this message (or options under apple's notification settings) on my 3GS running 4.0.2.

Local alerts are switched ON by default. They don't need approval of the user. iPad uses iOS 3.2 which only supports Push (which require user's approval).
