I second the request. Estimating length is one of the basic skills of time management, and a good unit is half an hour. Length is also a required element if/when tasks become events. As for timer, you might want to take a look at the Pomodoro system, especially the "Chromodoro" timer. Just as food for thought.
Thanks colleague, I'll go check out pomodoro. I would rather have everything in one place. I know that Smart Pad has the timer in the app, and the lenght. I'd still rather have 2do keep track of everything in one place.
A timer is not necessary for me, but I would love to be able to enter how long each task took to complete when I mark it as complete. I would especially love it if I could make 2Do ask me how long something took each time I mark a task as completed. Then I can go to the Toodledo site and get a report for each project to use for my invoices.
