more functional use of tags

firstly id just like to say that 2do is an awesome task manager, and ive used many - todo, omnifocus, things, flow

one thing i feel is missing though in comparison to some other task managers is a more functional use for tags, specifically:
-when in a smart folder based on tag search - quick add could use that tag - otherwise you have to keep adding tags to each entry - defeats purpose of quick entry. is there another way to do quick entry with a default tag?

-sort by tag in calendar - this would be really handy - FLOW does this well by showing each task only once in their 'sort by tag' view - multiple tags show up together eg ('tag1 and tag2' has a list of associated tasks)

- see tags in task list like you can see 'list name' - i know this has been asked before - it would make it much easier to use the functionality of tags if they werent hidden - if you cant sort by tag in a calendar list then it would be good to at least be able to see associated tags - my wife and i share a calendar and we delegate tasks by tags - its hard to see who is doing what when we cant see the associated tag unless we click on the task and view its contents.

the devs have probably already thought of these ideas and maybe there are technical difficulties as to why these cant happen that i dont understand...hopefully something might be able to improve in future in the 'tag' department. keep up the good work

Just wanted to clarify that quick add seems to only be available from a smart folder in the ipad app, not the iphone app.

One other thing would be useful to make tags as easy to add as adding a list to a task. Drag task to 'tag search' smart folder adds that tag. I know this wont be on the high priority as devs are working hard in multiple areas. Just an idea.

tags is a very nice feature in 2do and it is way better compared to Context in OF. This was one of the reason I switched to 2do after several years of using OF. It would be really nice to make tags more flexible and easy to use.

ive got a workaround for one of my requests - the sort by tag. previously i had people as tags and calendars as areas of work. ive swapped calendars and tags, making people as calendars and tags as areas of work. now i can assign jobs just by dragging the task to the person calendar. i have a smart calendar for the tag area of work eg garden jobs - i then sort that smart calendar by calendar - this shows who is assigned to each task. cool !

it still would be great to be able to add quick tasks with tags attached. with the workaround above there is an extra step of having to constantly add tags.
