iCloud sync doesnt work

I have this app on my iPhone and iPad. Recently tried testing sync with iCloud but it does not copy tasks from phone to my iPad. I tried deleting the app off the iPad and reinstalling from scratch. Unfortunately, this did not work either. Another really irritating bug is the way the app renames my calendars in iCloud after a sync from "CAL1" to "CAL1 ToDos". Renaming back to "CAL1" has no affect on the next sync.

Deleting the duplicate calendars and renaming them to different names such as "CAL1" to "XYZCAL1" fixed the duplication issue. However I still can't get my calendars on to my iPad via iCloud. Devs, please look into this issue.

FYI here is a workaround:

Get iCloud sync working on one device. Then use the backup utility to copy tasks to secondary devices. Send yourself using the backup utility and open it on the second device replacing all your tasks. This should get sync working - at least it worked for me.

Go to icloud and do not tick any boxes in the calender app. No event or task should be shown in icloud. Then synchronize the 2do-app on your iphone. Weired solution - but it worked.

@Phil1981 -- Thanks so much!! I'm using 2Do v2.6 and haven't been able to sync my tasks from iCloud at all! The tasks were synced from my iPhone to iCloud and showed up as reminders. However, I lost all of my tasks on iPhone while trying to do a full refresh from iCloud and after that they wouldn't sync back to my iPhone. Unticking all of the calendars in iCloud and then syncing from my iPhone worked perfectly!! Thanks again!
